What should you do?

    • complete the self-certification of your vehicle suitability
    • complete the training modules
    • submit a medical certificate (only those Riders who have received a communication requesting the certificate)

    If your account has been suspended or you have received an email with the subject line “Il tuo account potrebbe essere bloccato or “Il tuo account Deliveroo Rider è stato sospeso” please complete the required actions.
    To get back to riding with Deliveroo, we invite you to complete the missing actions.

    Training

    If you haven't done it yet complete the training modules on road safety, and on food transportation and storage available through the Academy Ecoconsult e-learning platform.

    If your account has not been suspended, you will not be required to send us certificates of completion.

    Vehicle self-certification

    If you have not already done so in your application, check the boxes to confirm your vehicle's eligibility for delivery activities.

    Medical certificate

    If requested by a communication, you can obtain your medical health and fit to work certificate for free in one of the centres affiliated with Deliveroo, by booking here.

    Alternatively, you can go to a doctor of your choice, however Deliveroo won’t cover the fee in this case.

    The certificate must state that you are fit to work as a delivery man or delivery rider.

    Please send us the medical certificate via the link in the communication with the subject line "Importante: azioni da adottare per continuare la tua collaborazione”. We remind you that you can send us the same medical certificate that you sent to the other platforms with which you ride.

    FAQ

    • Where do I send the medical certificate?

      It is not necessary to send the medical certificate to the Rider Support Team via the Help section of the website.

      All we ask is that you upload a medical certificate stating that you are in good health and fit to ride using the link in the communication you received.

      Don't know which communication we are talking about? Look for the one with the subject line: "Importante: azioni da adottare per continuare la tua collaborazione”.

    • Do I have to send Ecoconsult training completion certificates?

      If your account has not been suspended, you will not be required to send us certificates of completion.

    • What does it happen if I do not send the certificate in time?

      Please note that failure to complete what you requested in the timeframe defined in the communication you received will result in the suspension of your collaboration with Deliveroo until we receive the required documentation.

      Please arrange as soon as possible to send the documentation requested in the communication received.

    • Can I change my vehicle before sending the self-certification?

      Before selecting your vehicle from the portal, make sure your app is up to date with the vehicle you actually use.

    • Why are you asking for these documents?

      These documents are necessary to ensure your safety when delivering and comply with applicable law.

    • Why wasn't I asked for a medical certificate?

      We are currently in the process of requesting medical certification from Riders who have ridden with Deliveroo between July 31, 2020 - August 1, 2021.

      We are planning the implementation for all the Riders who ride with us. When needed, you will receive an appropriate communication.
